We do many, many banners. You can surf the web and find legions of cheap banners, but WE do a heavy (14oz.or more) banner with adhesive hems, so as not to weaken our product with massive needle holes. Sewn hems are far cheaper but create a “perforation” for a big Centerville or South Weber wind to rip apart.
We also do most of our banner work in-house to control the quality and service for our clients. We hate to sub-out. It creates too many holes in the communication process with our customers. Our printer will print up to 27″ wide, so when we seam, we use a heavy adhesive tape such as VHB or equivalent (the same kind of stuff used on the space shuttle tiles) to assure quality and aggressive adhesion. We also do a proof for you to see in advance so there are no surprises when the final product is delivered.
Have you ever seen a political sign that the sun shines behind and shows through obliterating the message? Not from us! We print on a heavy calendared vinyl then apply it to the corex so the result is almost opaque so a bright light will not show through. This is a far more expensive process but our low overhead helps keep the prices competitive. As always we proof the sign with you first, so you see it, and can make any changes before the product is printed.
